I hope you all had a wonderful beginning to 2008.

For me it has been pretty quiet. It is snowing, yet again, here in Maine.

I had to venture out into the storm to get Hayley this morning (she was at her's cousin's last night) and then I had to get some groceries,

so I decided to take my camera and take a few shots...

So...for those of you that would like some snow...here you go...these are for you.

True story....

My sense of direction is so bad that I got lost in Best Buy looking for the GPS'
I had to ask for directions to find them...
Honest mistake really...
I was thinking GPS...cellphone...electronic gadget...computer
Who knew they would be in the car/audio section?????
I mean, I know you use them in the car, but really, I think it makes more sense in with the portable electronic section.

So....Mickey bought me a GPS for Christmas, but I get to use it now!!!!

Just ask Mel, Neil, Karen, & Juls! They know I need it!! I think I got lost both times I went down there. I managed to not get lost when I met them here!!!!!!!! And as for Mel...she has been with me when I hhave been lost!!!!!!

Speaking of Neil, Karen, & Juls a couple of weekends ago when Juls and her family were on this side of the pond they invited me to visit with them. We had a really nice time and it was great seeing them again...but how is it that we at least 3 cameras and we didn't manage to get 1 picture of the group of us????

I guess it is because we were focused on the kiddos!

It's been 2,111 days since I joined....you have got to be kidding me!

So, I have been talking about Xanga half the day...so I thought "what the hell...I'll say hi"

So much to say...don't know where to start...

Don't expect too much from me being here...Personally I'll be shocked if I get 10 comments...or 2 really.

I read some of my old posts...they were damn funny at times...but it is because I fed off from all of you most of the times...good times.

I miss it....and yet, I don't, I like real life. Sometimes Xanga took over where real life was. The lines got really blurry for me. Plus I think I was running out of things to say...those that know me in person are laughing at that!!!!

Summer started off well, my sister & kids were here from China, had a great time. The day they left my mom's sister died. 9 days later my brother-in-law dies, and then 12 days later my uncle died....summer ended on a terrible note.

Hayley made the Middle School Soccer team, got braces 2 weeks ago, schools going well. Still have the dog, the cat, and the rabbit...FULL HOUSE!

I am working, and working, and when I am not working....I'm working.

Hello....

Just wondering if anyone stops here anymore???

I stop by and check on you all from time to time.

Things are good. Work is good. Family is good. Hayley is 12...playing tons of basketball....she's on 2 teams...making for a VERY busy house. Basketball games both Saturday & Sunday...plus at least 3 practices during the week. I have been doing a lot of photography. I have a new camera. I have been asked to do 2 weddings this summer...I am excited and nervous!

The only exciting news for me is...I saw the Lovehammers again...New Years Eve in Chicago!!!! Great time!!! I didn't go with Mel and I missed her tons, but still had a lot of fun. Sad story from the trip though. There was a coat that I wanted for Christmas really badly from my parents and being the nice parents that they are I got the coat I wanted . I didn't even wear my coat until the day I left for Chi-town. On New Years Day....my coat was stolen...right off the back of my chair as I ate at O'Hare airport. I was so very sad...not to mention COLD! I had to fly home to Boston and then take a 2 hour bus ride to Maine and then an hour drive home January 1st in Maine!!!!!!!!!! It was awful...I cried. I was glad that I didn't lose anything that could have been in my coat pocket...like money, iPod, cellphone, ID, credit cards...I had all of that in my pocket book on my lap...I never figured anyone would steal my coat right off my chair
